First Blog Post! Talking about Destiny

Time to start somewhere, so this is going to be very conversational; expect me to be just talking in these.

And what better for me to talk about than Destiny 2, my favorite game!

So, with the upcoming expansion to the game, Beyond Light, a lot of content of the game is being taken out, locked away in the DCV ("Destiny Content Vault"). Specifically, the first year's worth of content for the game and some seasonal content from Destiny 2: Forsaken. I have been playing since the game released since 2017, so I've experienced most of the content (not always following through with everything, but its a pretty big MMO Looter-Shooter, so I think that validates me).

One of the quests in the game is the quest for the exotic weapon, the Outbreak Perfected, which I was able to complete by myself several months back. However, back then the mission was bugged, and was much easier to complete consequently. So when I wanted to help my friend, Duskwraith, complete the quest and get him the gun before the quest was locked away in the DCV, we kinda ran into a wall. Duskwraith is, self admittedly, a more casual player, and I'd say I'm committed but not to the point of maxing out my levels and hunting God-Roll weapons. So, later that week, we'd enlist the assistance of another friend, Vovaline, and she carried us through the quest.

But, before that day, we were mostly waiting around. There was other things for us to do, so after we got as far as we could in the quest, we went and visited the Pit of Heresy dungeon. The dungeon is a three player activity, and a hard one at that, so we knew we weren't going to beat it in one night, but we did have some fun struggling through the Ogre Maze. I drew our Guardians hiding in the maze after we played, to remember the night!
